Award by the Eagle Tae Kwon Do Federation, and in 1994 was awarded the
“Outstanding Martial Artist of the Year” Award by the US Martial Arts

In 1991, Master McDonald was featured with Grand Master H. K. Lee on
the year book edition of the international magazine, Tae Kwon Do Times.
Under the direction of McDonald, US Tae Kwon Do has stayed active in
the community by sponsoring the Parkwood Athletic Association Softball
program, participating in the Adopt-a-highway clean up program, as well
as providing special self-defense courses for flight attendants at
Midway Airlines.
As
a strong supporter of Chuck Norris' "Kick Drugs Out of America," US Tae
Kwon Do has raised over $4,500 for inner city children. It was also
the first school in the area to offer a full year tuition scholarship
to local deserving children in a program called project Sparrow. To
date, the USTI has given back to the community over $50,000 in
scholarships to children who otherwise could not have had this
experience. The academy has also participated in the annual Toys for
Tots drive.
